Memorial Day!
Wow today was a really long day for some reason. As I sit here and think about what the heck happened, my mind goes BLANK! So I found myself online, on youtube, makeup sites (Sephora thank you!), well you get the point.
Speaking of the internet, my new favorite site is Pinterest. I could literally be online looking at boards for hours. That's why I stay up when the kids are asleep surfing the net. No seriously, if you've never been to the Pinterest website, you should check it out. You can search for anything and follow different people and their sites, and well you get the idea.
Before I go get me some beauty sleep, I have a nighttime (or early morning for those nights I don't go to bed until like 4am ha ha), I use Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial by Korres. This stuff is amazing. I was hooked on the fact that I could wake up with petal-soft skin by morning. It contains 95% natural contents and is great on all skin types. I've been using it for about a month now, and their disclaimer is that in 14 days you'll see skin that's brighter, more even-toned, and exceptionally radiant. Well I can contest to that one hundred percent Finally, if I can't get my beauty sleep every night, at least I can get it from a jar!

Lets Get Our Makeup On!
Wow another week almost over, and another month over too! Soon school will be out for the summer and I have no clue what we are going to do. What do you guys have planned for the summer?
So this week I took Samantha on a little cosmetics spree. We went to Sephora, Sally's Beauty Supply, and the Cosmetics Company Store (at the Williamsburg Prime Outlet Mall). This little adventure for me was like being a kid in a candy store, literally lol. Samantha loved trying on lipsticks and eyeshadow (thank you Sephora) all the while this gave me a chance to get some beauty insight and inspiration, and what the hottest beauty trends are.
You know, I must have looked so goofy walking around these makeup stores with little Sam in tow, and a notebook in hand, jotting down makeup products and prices, trying on products, but hey, that's what these open makeup counters are there for. You gotta try before you buy right? LOL I did buy a few products which I will try out and mention in another post. So stay tuned for that.
Well on that note, I need to clean some makeup brushes and finish watching the Rachel Zoe Project, love that show!

Is it already May?
Wow how time flies. It's already the middle of May! I knew things were flying by when we got a "class picture time" form sent home from our daughters school.
Passing the time is easy when you've got a lot on your plate. This week I decided to cut down on my to-do lists and really focus on what's important in my life. God. and my family. The laundry can wait!
As far as beauty fav to rant about, I have been using the Bliss cleanser for the past week and love it. It's very refreshing and not too rough since it does have some exfoliation. Also it smells amazing and it's the color blue, which reminds me of the water and wanting to go to the beach! Ha ha there goes my ranting!
So that's been a hit. I actually got a sample size bottle from Ulta just to "try out" and a little goes a long way. I use it just in the morning, at night have have my other skin care routine which I can explain and provide you the products I use as well.
Now that its' almost May 16, I am going to close for now. Tomorrow morning will be here before I know it!
